Ride your glory by piggy-backing on someone else's success ---this is India , this is Bollywood!

TV is On : my channel switches to "Colors" , Some award ceremony is going on..!!

Shahrukh is trying to create some romantic scenes one-after-another [on stage] ; every movement of him is being followed by a spot-light and being back(ground)-ed by the romantic music pieces like-- the Violine tunes from Mohabbatein ,the Mandolin beats from DDLJ, the melody of 'suraj hua madham' etc ..!!

'WoW !!'

Wait, you SRK fans! Dont let your heart melt for Shahrukh now , nothing heroic of him at this moment . It is actually your subconscious mind which is taking you over now, submitting to those finest music tones [unknowingly] but reporting to your brain officially asif the ongoing 'magic' is being created by the one whom you are watching in-front of you --the actor, Shahrukh !

[Alas, Would anybody care at this moment to give credit to where it is due --say to the creators of those music which is actually raising the pulses in your body right now [Jatin-Lalit] !! ]

The fact is : By the time the actor SRK builds his empire, those music duo find themselves ending up in bankruptcy causing them to be parting apart and hence finishing an entity called "Jatin-Lalit" from art-world [ BTW, They did not get any single film-fare award also for carrying a memento !! ]

West is west -- MJ will be credited for his own pop !! Be it Lady Gaga for her chartbusters, or Bryan Adams for his romantic tracks or Pink Floyd for their psychedelic rocks, they get all their due credit and nobody else has a chance to ride on their success--[its like cash-on-delivery] which is actually the ideal thing in my opinion !!

I think Javed Akhtar had initiated something some time back for royalty for music composers/lyricists but looks like the initiative was suppressed immediately , he faced a ban too from Film Federation of India !

Heard 'Jana Gana Mana' many times , but never in thisway ..

You might have seen a new compilation of 'Jana Gana Mana' sung by a handful of professional artists [by shaking their heads /hands synchronously with the tune ] in TV ? well I m not talking about that :)
..On the final moment of Anna Hazare's campaign the campaigners were singing 'Jana Gana Mana' [on stage].. as the song proceeded to the last line ..a voice was heard singing those 2 words 'Jaya he, Jaya he' by suddenly escalating (the tone) to such a higher level which actually made me feel as if he was truely declaring the victory ("jaya he")of India ... the voice was none other than from an old soldier of the country with an empty stomach for a cause --- Anna Hazare ".

Getting a chance , watch it on UTube ! you will actually realize what 'Jaya He' means !

Independence day thought !

Today is India's independence day ! Well , today you will see that they (some self obsessed, self oriented Indians, commoners ,celebrities etc ) will mostly talk about:- 'Are we free today ? Have we got freedom?? After 65 years are we still independent” etc etc!

Come-on ! This is not an international day of human's (absolute ) independence-- it is an anniversary of a hard earned freedom of India as a state from British Colonial power, before which Indians were no more than the slaves, with mute voice ,enjoying absolutely void rules and (un)justice !

The 15 august, '47 gave us a sovereign state, making us the way to create a constitution of our own, to enjoy equality, democracy, justice and most importantly dignity! We should consider this very day (in every year ) as a best opportunity to remember the freedom fighters ,showing gratitude , valuing their sacrifices and thanking them once again to make us free citizens of a free country !

Now that we have a full fledged judicial, parliamentary/democratic system, it’s our own inability, flaw-within, reluctance, bad civic sense or/and lack of social responsibilities which are causing all the troubles, posing as threats to our basic 'freedom's here n there! If we want, we can ofcourse now exercise necessary rights, power, laws and systematic democratic measures (including protests n agitation) to cleanup these obstacles of freedom! If we really care, we can do it, but we won't -- because we can hardly afford time n effort, we r too busy with our own 'Zindagi' . if possible we'll discourage them who are at least trying to do something! Instead we will crib: ‘oh man I don't have freedom! '

Though the truth is that there is nothing called absolute freedom, however even for the necessary freedom nobody will offer you it on a silver spoon, you have to acquire on your own and thanks to 15 august that at least we are in a position to do that !!
